100 days quit tomorrow....

.........and I still want to smoke. But I'm not going to. I feel so much healthier and I've saved £350 so far.

It's finally raining here which means I haven't got to water the allotment tonight. I've decided to celebrate by fixing the tyres on my pushbike (which has stood in my hall untouched for a year) and going for a cycle ride.

same here!

Hi both - i haven't posted on the forum for ages but I have also passed the 100 days milestone and can still say that i could really go for a smoke! I am assured it does lessen but i still feel like i had one about an hour or two ago, and i am ready for the next one!

I think the pride and the drama of actually giving up has now passed and this is how it is going to be from now on - that is a little bit scary. I have to puff on the inhalator every now and then to get me through and i know i won't have one - just sometimes you get a crave that hits you and you think, come on, enough already!

With the money that I used to spend on cigarettes every month, I am going to get myself a much needed new car. And I cannot wait! :D

Thanks guys,

I went camping last weekend and my mate in a tent near me who is in his 50's and a heavy smoker woke me every night with his awful coughing. I can remember coughing like that. Or just lying there listening to the wheeze. Not any more. I can breathe easy now.......

Hey guys, hope you're all well.

Well done everyone, 100 days is a special achievement, but as Sue says the temptation is still there to smoke so be on guard at all times.

I don't come in here as often these days but I note a couple of people who fell off after a year and even a 2 year quitter cracked, so the warning is there for us all.

Your coughing camper is probably the reminder everyone needs every now and then - who would seriously want to go back to constant bronchitis and short breath ?

Keep it up all, you're winning but you haven't yet won.

Take care

Hi Guys!

Well done for your 100 days!

I have just reached the penthouse and in my experience, the 'i could do with a ciggie now' feeling starts to tail off for you guys soon.

Hold on, not long now!!
