Everyone has different quit issues.just try to live with the discomfort....It goes eventually.Look at it as a small price to pay for all the advantages to be gained from being a nonsmoker. You must be strong for the first few weeks.its uncomfortable for sure at times but the craves always pass.I had a bad afternoon today..day 13...but got over it..and night times are always good.
Loads of people feel like this - once the nicotene is gone we assume the craving will go too. I'm afraid it doesn't quite work that way, as 99% of quitting is in the mind - it's all about learning to live as a non smoker. As you get used to getting through various situations (after meal, drinking, after you've finished work or whatever) without smoking, your brain will gradually be retrained not to expect it, and things will start to get better. But at the moment your brain is still saying 'cigarette please!' quite a lot, and when you don't have one it creates psychological symptoms which feel very physical indeed.
Like Douglasj says, you have to be strong. Keep making the choice not to smoke and gradually you will retrain your brain and it will get easier and easier. Keep focused on all the good reasons why you're doing this and use this site when things get tough, it really helps.
If you've not already read any links in folks signatures then take a look at mine and others. Particularly the link re terrible three's. It can be useful to read posts around your own quit time and those ahead to get an understanding of what you may expect.
Stay strong, hang in there and own your quit. What may feel intense and awful right now really is worth pushing through.
Thanks guys for the encouragement i think i am just having a bad week so it's not contributing to the non-smoking like you guys and everyone say think positive and stay strong i have made it this far would be silly to turn back now.
