Hi Connie - your stats are similar to mine except i am a teensy bit older than you!
Smelling the smoke is quite normal, even after a few hours of abstaining. When i would go to my mum's, who is a non smoker, by the time i left, i could smell my own clothes - it just seems to become more prominent when you haven't smoked.
Also, I am going to have to wash all of my 'smalls' because i opened the drawer and the smell hit me! Everything in there is fresh and clean, i have to say, but because we smoked everywhere in the house, the smoke had crept in!
The patches really are brilliant. I feel i can function perfectly normally with no massive cravings, so i can deal with breaking the habit. Day 16 for me and all is well.
Well done Connie, good girl! You can and will do this!
I opened an envelope containing paperwork that I only use about once a month the other day. YUK YUK YUK
MrsCP I am soooo glad to come across someone else who smoked in their house. Been feeling quite ashamed when everyone else pon here has been smoking outside! Mind you I don't have children so I suppose I've less reason to go outside!!
