Everything good this morning...did not even need a losange. Usally the mornings were the worst for me. Roughly when do you think the cravings will start to lightin up?

Hi warren...you're doing fab, keep going!
I don't think anyone can really answer that question as it's so different for everyone. The nicotene-related cravings should be done with after about four or five days, max. Some people are lucky enough that once they reach this stage they don't have more than passing thoughts.
However for others (and I'm one of them) you then have to tackle the psychological readjustment. When your brain prompts you to smoke in the early weeks, it can feel very physical, even though nicotene has sod all to do with it. This stage lasts longer for some people than others - you kind of have to work through all those triggers and situations when you would normally have smoked, and re-learn how to live a normal life without using smoking as a crutch. It's taken about three months for me, but it's MUCH better now.
It's true for almost everyone that the cravings get fewer and further between as time goes on, and become easier to manage. And the benefits of not smoking become so blindingly obvious that you'd willingly put up with them when they come, rather than go back to smoking!
Hang in there. One day at a time.
Helen
