I'm a new quitter. I've been smoking for 1.5 years. At first just max 1 a day, but lately I've been smoking 9 a day so I decided to stop. To be honest I haven't been having much problems so far. I don't crave for a cig. I did sleep horrible last night, though. But I don't know if that's the lack of tabako.
Maybe it's because I'm staying at my parents' house where I can't smoke because of my mother's health condition that is helping, but so far it's not difficult. I fear the third day, though. x')

Dosent sound like you have too much of an addiction to nicotine so it should not be to hard for you to stop. The longer you keep smoking though the harder it will be to stop so youre doing the right thing in quiting, Best of luck with your quit!
Hiya, well done for deciding to quit. Sometimes it can be hardest for those that don't smoke much (or haven't for very long) because they can't see or feel the disadvantages to smoking as clearly as heavy smokers do.
However, the health and social issues surrounding smoking are still the same whether you smoke 5 or 20 a day - you're still not doing your body any favours by poisoning it. People who don't smoke very much might be tempted to 'ideolise' those few cigarettes they have everyday so keep your guard up and stay strong
You have certainly made the right decision to quit now, as it's so easy to slip into a heavier smoking pattern. Day 3 can be beat.. I just did it and I've been smoking 20 a day for 20 odd years. Best of luck.
Yep you made the right choice to quit now, 1.5 years i nothing, you should be able to quit no problem but don't let that fool you, i smoked for 16 years and my first year or two i kept telling myself "i'm not hooked" "i can stop when ever i want", and that was probably true, trouble was i didn't want to, all my friends were smoking so i wanted to smoke, and i enjoyed it.
Wish i never started in the first place, i quit just over 7 months ago, it was torture but i'm glad i've made it this far.
quit now while it's easy, the longer you smoke the harder it is to quit. and one day you WILL want to quit anyway, might as well do it now.
This morning I had my first craving, because I used to always wake up with a cigarette (which was quite silly, as honestly I didn't even feel tabako when I was half-awake). But reading your posts made it easier not to take one!
Anyway I'm no longer in my first day so I suppose I should leave this topic, heh.

You'll be supported no matter where you go but you should go and check out your new room - good luck!
