Just found out I have an audition tomorrow for some actual PAID acting work on a corporate video. Four days work which would net me about £1200, which I don't need to tell you I could seriously use.
Already very very nervous. This is a HUGE smoking trigger for me, and one I haven't encountered since I quit.
Not going to smoke, can't and won't cave after all these weeks. But having a horrible morning with the craving!

Aww Mrs Belles
You are always the one who fills me with positivity when I am feeling low!!
Don't even think about tomorrow you will do just fine, time to take some of your own advice me thinks! Take a walk, sip some water, find a milkman and kick him in the shin or perhaps take a sky diving lesson and before you know it the craving will have passed.
Well done on getting the audition, getting passed the earlier stages are so hard these days so you should be proud of yourself. Smoking does not help with the stress, that is the addiction trying to convince you that it did.
Stay strong and once you get passed this you will be well proud of yourself.
Nerves, yup course you have. Bound to really because if you weren't nervous you wouldn't care and if you didn't care you wouldn't be a very good actress! Simples.
Now what to do to stop the craving. Who do you know that doesn't smoke but you like. Can you go and spend time with them? How about going to the cinema? Breath in deeply and practice your vocalisation techniques... bet that's easier now than it was (if you do that??!)
I know... post some more of those wonderful 1970's ads. That keep us amused and you busy!
Huge amounts of good luck for tomorrow and stick with the quit, you are so brilliant at keeping the rest of us going.
I don't feel qualified to give you advice - it's normally your posts I look to when I need a bit of a boost! But I will wish you the very best of luck.
If you smoke now just think what youd start, you wouldnt sleep tonight, youd have that whole thing of cramming in loads before the audition, youd go in there wheezing and youd stink! Then youd celebrate or console with ciggies when you hear if youve been successfull, which means youd either be too busy, or too down to quit again...
