Hi everyone, I've not posted for a few months so I thought I'd make a new thread so people know where I'm at. I never thought I'd get this far and its been a long hard journey, but one that is definately worth it. The only time I ever think about having a cig is when I'm really stressed, I think to myself I could just have one right now. Although I've never actually come close to going and buying some. I'd say after 3-4 months you start to forget about smoking. I found it easier taking it one day at a time. I also found not thinking 'I'm never going to have one again' helps because when I did that I felt as if it was to much pressure on myself. 7 months is by far the furthest I have ever gone without having a cig and i would like to thank all the people that supported me on this site when I needed it. I also hope everybody's quit is going well, just remember its so worth it when you come out of the routine of smoking and get into the routine of not smoking. If I can do it anyone can just think of the money and health benefits. Thanks.
Daniel.

Congratulations Daniel
It is always good to read success stories as it adds motivation to my own quit. Hope it continues to go well for you!!
