It was mostly ok i think..managed an extra 0.6 miles running which i'm so pleased about, and generally v happy to have gotten through day 3... however the iffy bits....
1. Issues with OH's job made me go "AH - stress, wanna cig", but was at gym so couldnt then realised about a minute later the craving had gone
2. Worried about the weekend, have not made it through a weekend for i dont know how long without cigs and brain/nicodeomon saying "this is your last chance to smoke" not sure what that even means? i think i'm thinking i could give up "properly" on Monday
3. Eaten multiple Quality Streets and also nearly 3 bars of Dairy Milk!

Issue 1 is easy to fix - hit OH in mouth with hammer, no way can he then say anything to agitate you.
Issue 2 - Everyone worries on this one, personally i think "no work so less stress". Usually friends and family are off at weekends so plan the weekend with people who don't smoke so as there's less temptation.
You're already thinking "the weekend is 2 days, it's too long" but is it really?, each day of the weekend is a third of the 3 days you've already done and you achieved the 3 days admirably. Take each hour/each day at a time.
Don't lose sight of your goal and the reasons for fighting to reach that goal.
Issue 3 - Surprised it's only 3 bars of Dairy Milk
Ok time for some perspective.........
Whilst Pete's approach may get results I would try a more subtle, tested method of attack:
All stress re OH job situation can easily be overcome with a conversation with the Italian relationship expert Mr Qwik Di-Vorce.
As for the weekend issue, I think I (or Pete) have previously advised the benefits of something called housework, and whilst neither of us understand quite what is involved, some of the women on this forum highly recommend it!
With regards to the chocolate the good news is if you do enough of the housework thingy then I am led to believe that chocolate is not an issue!!
