Sorry to hear that that the Nicomonster is trying to get back in. I felt like that a couple of days ago, it was at my 25th day so we all seem to be finding that time of our quits the hardest for cravings.
Anyhoooooo you, stay strong and kick Nic's butt if he is still there. Your are much much stronger than him.
I had a tough spot around then. I am a week ahead of you and I got past past. Though mine was really a nagging thought that I could really smoke right now as opposed to the I can't breathe without a cigarette that I had the first few days.
Stay stong, it does pass. I feel great now and well in control of my quit.
I have had the dubious pleasure of Mr Nicomonster camping out at my house for 3 days now, and he appears to have no intention of moving on.
The cravings are constant, and while I have no intention of giving in to them, I am finding it very draining, both emotionally and phisically.
My quit was going fine, but suddenly has hit a bit of rough ground.
No cause for concern just wanted to vent my spleen a little.
Hi Gary,
A huge well done on getting so far into your quit
Like others have said stay strong matey, the demon is trying to trip you up, when you thought it was all going well.
Its a mind game he plays (the bugger) he thinks he can win, but he wont, he will try every which way he can to trip you up and you will have days that he will be around more because you are being strong and he wont like it!!
It will pass Gary, don't let him get to you... think of him as scrawny annoying fly and keep flapping him away from you and he will give up eventually.
