Body Aches

Did anyone have any really annoying body aches around their 4th month? I'm 14weeks and 2 days into my quit but i keep getting these horrible aches. I think my bodys just so tired from the recovery it must be, its starting to feel like such a burden on my chest atm aswell

Hi Alex

Don't remember anything in particular, hopwever it might be an idea to read through the section on quitting symptoms - you never know, there might be something in there.

Lastly have you increased your exercise since quitting? Have you been for a sauna and a soak, the quitting process is hard on body and mind, for a variety of reasons, might wanna show yourself some TLC and pamper yourself a bit.

Nope, only the ones i get from being unfit. I'm 18 weeks and 5 days but i do have regular massage, reflexology, reiki etc, at least once a month to keep the stress and tension away.

Regular massages sounds really good, well if your OH knows how to give em properly!

I have been exercising more, not lots...and well I've made a few posts about this but, in the last 10 weeks I have coughed up some really black tarry gunk every single day and im just sick of it now. theres been about 3 days in the last week which I have gone gunk free. I cant wait for it to be over

Hi Guys,

I guess I am one of the lucky ones.

I haven't had any symptoms since I quit 4 and a half months ago.

Do I feel better? I am not sure. Maybe psychologically

Do I still miss smoking? of course.

Do I feel something is different? of course.

Has there been any particular issues such as sleep, appetite, sex? NO.

Am I glad I quit? definitely.

Then it is worth it.
