Well it was a year on the 2nd March and I totally forgot, just did not notice it at all. I must be cured
I have not been on here much at all in the past months as I have not needed to. Selfishly it means I have not given much support to anyone else on here that needs it and for that I apologise. This forum and its users have been the only tool I needed to quit and that means I owe a lot of people on here a huge debt of gratitude . I may have managed alone but being able to come on here and spout my thoughts and feelings made it all alot easier.
Thanks again everyone. And its nice to see others from around my quit date making it to the year !

When do you think you finally stopped thinking about them? Do you ever still?
I still think about them (not crave) every day ( I can ignore it and it's not pressing to go and have one, but i still have a wistful think, and that's at 4 months....It isn't a problem though. )
Well into your 2nd year by now! It's great that the anniversary slipped by unnoticed - I'm sure that will give plenty of encouragement to people who wonder if it ever gets any easier.
If you have moved on and are now living the life of a non-smoker then thats fine. its not mandatory that you support others as you've received support, its just helpful when and if you do. Sometimes i reckon once you've really cracked something like this you don't need to log on to the forum anyway, just the same way as you wouldn't log on to Ford Forums if you changed your car to a honda.
What matters is you've been quit a year, and thats fantastic!!! so even if we don't really see you around, just remain a non/ex smoker and never succumb to complacency.
Best of luck for the time here forward.. and congrats on your 1'yr acheivement
Great to see you hit the one year and passed it! Some are quiet, some are busy, thats the beauty of this forum. It doesn't matter how you do it, just that you do it ! Well done!

Jude75 .. I feel exactly how you have said. Perhaps not so often but every few days or so. Its not a crave but just a thought. It is so insignificant that its never an issue to deal with.. Well done on 4 months Take it easy and the rest is easy.
Jodi.. You should be proud of yourself for going cold turkey . As you say there are days when it would be sasy to slip . Youve got a good couple of months under your belt now and have proven to yourself and those around you that you dont need to smoke , there is absolutely no physical craving at this point , anything negative is all in your head .. You know that you are stronger than any of that so dont get complacent, feel good about it and youve got it beat.
Lorraine your a good couple of months in aswell it will soon be easy cruising for you too if its not already. Thanks for your good wishes.
