I have been smoke free for 40 days. That's 1002 cigarettes is I haven't smoked. When did I have the time to smoke that many cigarettes.
My t-shirt and fundraising pack arrived today for the MacMillan 10k fun run. I have raised half my target amount and I am really going to run 10k. The couch to 5k is going well.
Had a few drinks on Friday and a few cravings. Decided to cut out the alcohol altogether for the time being. I seem to have a reduced tolerance to it. I want a clear head every day to go with my clear lungs!

40 days huge well done to you ..just think how easy that 10k will be now that you dont smoke, brilliant Elli long may it continue.

I am enjoying another rest day today. I have 2 sick boys at home and another who has to go to the dental hospital. So I will have to work tomorrow instead.
I am getting quite partial to my spicy seeds now. I am still peckish a lot of the time but I think the increased exercises is balacning out against the increased calorie intake. I actually look better after putting on some weight.
