Day 40 and the fighter is back

Thank you all for putting up with my grumpiness and moodiness yesterday (my poor hubby and kids had to bear the brunt of this but they all hid from me). Today is a much better day, the sun is shining (well almost - not raining anyway), London town is calling (including a visit to Choccywoccydoodah - no idea how to spell it) and I am not going to beat myself up about using the e cig. Will go back to my original plan to wean myself off by 12 weeks.

I will be nice to everyone today (unless someone sits near me on the train eating crisps or apples - that don't count ). I will treat myself and my kids to something nice with my savings. I will buy hubby a little something for putting up with me and for doing so well himself for reaching day 40 and I will be back to my usual happy self!

Hope everyone else has a great day and let's all give Nasty Nic a great big kick up the butt for being a real pain in the ass lately!

Hi and well done for 40 days quit.. that's some serious days notched up, you should be really proud of yourself.

I wouldn't worry about the e-cig ( they didn't agree with me) as the most important thing is that you are not smoking. Further down the line you can as you say wean yourself off from them.

Anyway a trip to choccywoccydoodah sounds fab, so have a great day and stay proud and quit !

Thx Donna - I am proud and happy to have made it this far. Just had a down day yesterday but feel much happier today. These mood swings are worse than during pregnancy!

How sad,annoying and sick that this is what withdrawal from fags can do to us-make us nasty,unpleasant to loved ones,spiteful and vindictive to strangers and friends alike.Any chemical addiction that can do such things demonstrates the disgusting reality of smoking and deserves terminating!! :rolleyes:

If you want a starter kit for your new career as a crazy cat woman you're welcome to have my two - Chloe is trying to eat me out of house and home (she is without doubt the fattest cat I have ever had) and there were feathers in my hallway last night but I couldn't find an actual corpse anywhere though I hunted high and low and I'm blaming that one on Rufus!:mad:

Good grief, waaaaaaaaaay too many there hon! 3 maximum babe, or you'll be flat broke within minutes and the house will smell! (believe me, there have been times when I've spent more on their weekly shop than I have on mine - when you're broke it tends to be you that goes without!)

Lol, and how would I fit them in a 3 bed semi?
