My quit counter has turned to 40 days and 1000 cigarettes not smoked, and I feel very, very proud of myself, I really never thought I would get to this point.
Hope you all still doing well, I know the cravings are very much on or off for me, either I dont think about cigs at all or I want one so bad it hurts and for 10 minutes I`m mad, angry and !!!!!, but it does pass.

Hi All
My quit counter has turned to 40 days and 1000 cigarettes not smoked, and I feel very, very proud of myself, I really never thought I would get to this point.
Hope you all still doing well, I know the cravings are very much on or off for me, either I dont think about cigs at all or I want one so bad it hurts and for 10 minutes I`m mad, angry and !!!!!, but it does pass.
Thanks for your support it is scary reading that every morning when I power up computer but it really does help to remind you of what you were doing.
House smells lovely now, new scented candles and air fresheners, no stinky ashtrays, all binned !
My complexion is starting to look a lot clearer after a couple of giant spots (thought I was back in puberty) had one on the side of my nose like a beacon !!!! lol Dont much like the 8lb I have gained but I know I can deal with that when Im ready too, at the moment I am concentrating on quitting.
OMG - 1,000 of those blasted things. I've been focusing on the money (just over £300 so far). Never actually thought about the number of ciggies I would have smoked.
The quite counter is a useful reminder is it not! I know when I copied in and got running the link you sent, my eyes were like  at the amount I'd not smoked. It had been a while since I had worked out how many smokes I'd not had and I remember at just 4 or 5 days already thinking that (125 or so) to catch up on in one go was just stomach churning, unlike missed sleep.
I sincerely hope things begin to ease up for you now and your mind and body begin to appreciate and accept the change for the better.
Thanks for the posts, amazing isnt it Dave, not so worried about money as rollies didnt cost me that much, but was amazed at the stats today.
Pol, yes at last Im feeling more like myslf and even though I still get horrid craves trying to bump them out of he way, like kicking someones arse !!!
