urrrgh, just had the misfortune of having to trek out to my car to get my screwdrivers. Went outside, then caught the most awful stench of burning... then looked to see one of those mini-wall mounted ashtrays was on fire and all the smoke from it was billowing up and hanging in the cold air.
When i got to the carpark so i could see all the ashtrays, the one that was on fire was the one furthest from the smoke shelter of the 4 that were screwed onto the wall. It was crammed full of cigarette butts to the point where it was overflowing immensely.. and smoking really badly.
The other 3? hardly used.. and nearly empty... aint it typical that the ashtray that was on fire was only on fire because the smokers couldn't be bothered to walk 12 feet to the other ashtray? or would just throw their dimps on the floor instead?
Sooooooo glad to be away from that .. truly smelly habit.
