I started smoking at uni about 12 years ago. I gave up for a couple of years with my ex-girlfriend from about 2004-06. Foolishly, I started again when we split up. I've since given up for a few weeks at a time, twice.
This time I'm going to do it for real!
I'm doing it cold turkey as that's how I've done it before. A friend has told me lollipops have been a big help for him so that's my plan too for the first few weeks.
I've also decided to set up a twitter account, which will hopefully show my progress. The more followers I get, the more stupid I would feel if I were to fail!
