Day 10

Hi all,

Not a completely hideous day. There were quite a few people out on the forecourt smoking and chatting and I did feel a little left out, however I was nice and warm and they were cold. Ha Ha!!! Had a couple of strong urges but soon dealt with.

Got a very irritating member of staff that keeps putting cigarettes in front of my nose and keeps trying to get me to go outside for a fag. I don't think it's a sackable offence so i'll have to put up with it although in a way I feel very smug when I tell him to get knotted!

Hopefully tomorrow will be better than today and so on. Going away on business this weekend with my husband and unfortunately he is still smoking so that may be an ordeal. How does everybody else cope with spouses that smoke?

your gonna be loving rubbing it in that persons face in 6 months time when your looking good, feeling great and going on a top holiday somewhere with all the money you've saved

Well done on reaching day 10 - and as for that **coughtwatcough** person at your workplace, don't let 'em bother you & don't show it either (even if they do). They'll soon get bored, and very jealous, when they realise the success you are having

Hey Nessy - My boyfriend is a smoker, so he just goes off and smokes in another room or outside. We don't live together so that makes it a bit easier. All smokers would like to stop whether they admit it or not - ask any of them that if they could take a magic pill and they would not suffer withdrawal and never smoke again, would they take it - then most would say yes. So by you stopping hopefully your husband (and my bf) will stop in time too.

10 days is brill.

Day 10 is good especially when you are working with smokers and a jerk and OH is a smoker as well lots of temtation in the face. Maybe OH can put a little distance we he needs a puff.

I'm so glad yesterday wasn't hideous for you although you felt a little left out at times when others went for a fag but well done getting through those strong urges everyone you fight of means the next is just a little easier to cope with

Arghhhhhhhh people like that make me cross as it's totally out of order ans unneccessary my ex boss did that when I smoked he never offered me one but once I quit he kept offering them until the day I took the whole pack threw it in a huge puddle and stamped on it I wonder why he never offered me one again though ??

He's still smoking and moaning because he can't afford to go away on holiday
