Made it to second day, having not smoked 36 cigarettes and saved £8.60 so far. How do I know that you ask? Found a great sidebar gadget that sits on your desktop and accumulates time off the weed, fags not smoked and money saved - it helps!!! Woke up this morning with strong resolve to succeed still in place.

One Day Nine Hours and 34 minutes
Hey Mike...well done for getting through day one...it is hell.
I was just about to post in your day one message when I found you in day 2...
Keep striong my love and read and post here often there are many of us who would never have got this far if it was not for the support we get on this forum.
JUst remember you are over day one...you do not have to do that again. It is an uphill struggle but it does get better I promise (I did not belive that when I started )
Stay strong.....xx
Doing Fine thanks
Secret is a strong desire to stop. No point in trying unless you really want to succeed - that's the difference for me this time - I will succeed!!!!

Hi Mike,
On that basis you've already succeeded (some would argue). Congratulations - you're not a smoker.

You keep that positive resolve, that's what is needed. Read as much as you can about the nicotine addiction both on the site and in our signatures, this knowledge is what will keep you stopped.
Best wishes.
