I'm pumped I've made it this far however more recently I'm getting some pretty big urges to smoke, more so in the past week than in the last 2 months combined.
The smell of a cigarette isnt so great up close nowadays but from afar it can evoke the same feelings(love) I had about cigarettes when I first started trying to quit.
Since I've quit smoking I have gained approx. 20 pounds. I think I've supplemented food for cigarettes. I find myself eating when I'm bored and that stinks. I guess stuffing your face is better than breathing smoke with thousands of chemicals right?
I still smoke marijuana however I've more than cut my habit in half from the time I smoked cigarettes. For some reason when I smoked cigarettes, I smoke much more in general-- marijuana and cigarettes.
I also find myself more anxious than I was when I smoked cigarettes. Has anyone else experienced this?
In any event its great to have made it this far. Now 106 days cold turkey.

Good luck on your quit, surprised your still smoking has, most people feel the need to give up both.
Have been feeling more blue than anxious since stopping smoking because of the feelings of loss, boredom and blandness.
Despite all this you've still stopped smoking for 106 days and that is an achievement.
Might be worth trying not to smoke hash, as this increases appetite (munchies) and now you no longer have nicotine in your blood stream you don't know how big an effect just the hash is having. Most people try to avoid/reduce booze when they stop smoking. Many people avoid anything that might break their quit.
Hey Steve, I am bearing down on four months not smoking and the last 3-4 weeks have been not too bad. Once I fought off the three month attack I have had smooth sailing.
I do not know what it is about that three month mark.
Congratulations and well done. Keep on posting. It is good to see a time stamp I can relate to.
