Well this is day 5 for me, i think. Still going strong but man cravings have been tough today. I was stuck in a trafic jam and i would normaly chain smoke then so it got tough. But i survived. But besides situations like that everyday life is geting easier to manage. Just thought i would report in.
Day 5.... I think: Well this is day 5 for me... - No Smoking Day

Good on You Karas
Fair play to you Karas.
Dont talk to me about traffic Jams and Smoking. I used to comute through high rush hour traffic in Dublin City, and chain skoking was one of my things. When I quit awhile ago, this became a problem as I associated smoking with these situations. I got around the problem by cycling to work, not everyones cup of tea, but did you ever try smoking on a bike in bad weather?, doesnt work!!!
Keep up the good work, just keep thinking of the end product, keep focussed on your goal - stay positive.:)

Hi Kara
I know what you mean about traffic jams... on a 20 min jorney to work I went through 2 cigs, more if ther were delays.... well done you for getting through it.
I though driving would have been my worst time as I associate nipping out of work in my break for a cig as a satifaction and quiet time but does not bother me????
anyway well done keep going
Sue:)
