Hi Andy
Yes I have it but not through stopping smoking. I know you can get Zantac from the chemist now and it is good, there are also lots of other things if you can't get a chemist and have to go to a grocery store.
Good luck and well done on your 21 days smoke-free that is really excellent.

Acid Reflux. If you get it, how does it make you feel and how do you deal with it?
Suggest you see your doctor Andy may prescribe you some antacid tablets like Losec, as it is weekend i also suggest you ask the chemist for some Zantac which will help.
Thnx. It's very burny.
I suffer from it.
However since i have stopped smoking ( 4 weeks) I found its easing up.
I did a bit of digging on the subject a while back , and smoking makes it worse. ( it relaxes the muscle at the top of the stomach (that keeps all the acid juices from escaping). with it relaxed the acid escapes up into your throat.
Again, Ive found mine getting better.
Also keep an eye on your diet.
Yeah, thanks guys/gals.
The big thing that sets it off for me is (I now realise) beer.
I still like a drink so have had beer inspired event twice. It's really hot.
Anyway, gives reason to not drink too much. Or, change drinks.
Baileys was fine.
Now not smoking can buy two bottles a week if I want to. That's the good thing about not smoking, we have more money choices.
