16 weeks done, now onto week 17. If any folk are reading here that are not far into their quit (be it days or just some weeks), then you may be wondering about things getting easier as time goes by with your quit. Well, aside from the odd quirky moments (really minor negatives), then yeah it is much easier.. one week rolls into the next at this point, you tend to watch smokers at this point and realise more that giving up was the right move than wish you could have one yourself. A good thing!!!

112 days done.. many more to go.. but still motoring :)

Congrats to all the 100 club folk recently too, nice to see so many going over 100 days :) good place to be :)

Having that cross your mind, as well as time just rolling on by, is a great thing... very encouraging.

It'll be Spring time for me when I'm out and about looking at smokers thinking the same thing.:)

3 months just over - amazing. Congratulations

Congratulations Jase. 16 weeks completed - Wow. I had to get the calendar out to work out how many weeks I had done, which is a good sign I suppose.

It'll be 4 months done in 10 days time... doesn't seem that far away at this moment in time. This is the really nice part of quitting smoking. Yes its damn hard going at the start, its like your walking through the days in slow motion.. every thought you had to watch to make sure it wasn't trying to convince you to cave in and ' go n have one '.. but no.. you stick at it.. and then you find the the days become weeks... by the time you get to a month done you stop counting in days almost totally, you count in weeks.. and now after 3 months done, i've no idea half the time how long i've gone at all, except that i know on the 11th of each month its another month done.

The cravings are much lighter in intensity.. they are there sometimes.. but far more manageable.. You feel all the benefits of being quit health wise, and this helps tons. So however bad it may seem in the early days.. be stubborn.. don't give into the cravings and mind games.. just keep with the plan.. cravings pass.. days pass.. you strengthen.

Above all, you've quit smoking, and noone but yourself can take that away from you.

The months are going to start flying by now, Jase..... for me it's the 13th of each month I get that little reminder............ otherwise I no longer think in time or milestones..... it just is. Well done getting to month 4!

Well done Jase, how time flies you have finished 16 weeks already, the time does seem to pass more quickly the longer you have stopped.

Wishing you many more.
