Well tomorrow its a move up the boards to "week 3"....just been checking it out and it looks really scary in there....:eek:

Depressed/panic attacks/worst day yet/.........looks like its going to be a whole lot of fun. :(

Going to see if we can lighten it up a bit for you all to join us.

And there was me, not quite half way through 1 to 2 weeks stage, thinking it would be lighter, happier, more manageable in the '3 week' visit.:(

Yes please, some/any lightening up would be much appreciated :)

Week 3 is not hard for everyone Promise just take it day by day as you've been doing and you'll be fine

Welcome to the forum and well done on the decision to quit possibly one of the most important you will ever make and you will be losing nothing but you will regain control of your life and that has to be good

You will find all the help and support you need on here as we all help each other just like a family we are here for you every step of the way cheering the good days and sympathiseing with the bad but the good far outweigh the bad

Read the posts on here you will find a lot of tips and advice and in the signatures of a lot you will find links to other sites just click on them Here are 2 I find very good to start you off whyquit.com and woofmang.com Read, read and then read some more as the more you read and learn about why you smoked and about your addiction the easier your quit will be

Look at you lot, heading for week 3, or already there in some cases.

Three weeks is fantastic, whatever happens in terms of moods, or cravings, three bloody weeks of not smoking that is something worth celebrating.

It can be tough for some, but not for all, and you all have each other and the rest of us to help if necessary.

Brighten the place up a bit, throw a party or two and then before you know it you will be counting in months.:D

YAY - 13 days for me and a move up to the '3's' tomorrow.

All the family are still alive despite the highs and lows of moodiness esp in the evenings.

Have finished with the high strength 24 hr patches I started with after just 5 days. The dreams far to intense and my smoke nurse thought as a 'moderate' (ex?) smoker they were just to strong for me and the slow release of nic through the night not required.

Inhalator is helping and knowing that the dental work I'm in the process of having done will benefit from not smoking is a good motivator too.

Day times on the whole are and have been easier than the evenings. Keeping my hands and mind busy does help.

Thank you Marge for the links.... some good reinforcers within those reads of why we need to keep smoke free. Noticed your location, we're near neighbours :)

Don't worry about the threes. I read that they were meant to be grim, but I sailed through it and was in one door and out the other before I knew it.

I am dancing for you here (and I've had red wine!!), I'll miss you and I've decided I'm doing calendar months from now on so I will not join you for two weeks, so keep your mitts off my wine young lady!!

Week 3 has been better than week 2 for me too! I don't believe the horror stories about the "3's" - day FOUR was my worst, then I had a terrible day 12 too! The rest.... really hasn't been THAT bad - although I'm never doing it again! :)
