I've made it to week 2 so I am really pleased with myself.
I still have the cravings but nothing like the first few days. There will always be triggers though.
I really would have loved one last night on way to the pub as I always had one then.

But you didn't so well done and it only gets better
Well done to you, getting to 2 weeks is great. There are times in the early days when the thoughts are strong as we smoked many in a day and for many years, so there are lots of situations to get used to without them, but keep going it gets better.

Congratulations Madhatter on your week 2 milestone. Well Done!
Yahhhh well done!
Week two is great. Has Jackie said in the early days things are harder to dismiss. But it gets much easyer with time honest.xxxx
Thanks everyone
Well this evening when I got home from work I was finding it really tough, I even started looking in old hand bags for possible odd ciggie that may be lying around, there were none thankfully so I have not smoked. How desperate I was, but also knew that if I bought a packet of 10 that would have been fatel, as it would not end at the 1 ciggie. What do you guys do when you get this kind of urge.
I have decided to do a detox so am aiming to have no Alcohol until Friday. I like to have a glass of vino with the dinner, but I think this is another habbit I have to try and get out of.
Wishing you all the best and again cheers for the support.
I'm off to soak in the bath now and listen to hypnosis
