I cant believe i have got to day 3. My hubby is still smoking which means we have still got gigs and ashtrays everywhere and yet it has not crossed my mind to have one. I only wish i could just stop thinking about them, i dont actually want one but just keep thinking about them!!!!!!!!!!
The last few days i feel like i've not been myself and felt really flat. We went out last night to a friends house which i was really worried about but it seemed to do me the world of good and i even managed to have a fair few drinks without the cig which was amazing.
My hubby is trying to be discreet with the smoking but you can just smell when he has had one and it stinks, i cant believe thats how i used to smell and then go kiss the kids etc
Anyway after the day i had yesterday today seems to be loads better and i will make sure i keep up the good work and log on again tomorrow under day 4:D.
I Just want to say that coming on here is making all the difference. Reading everyone else's blogs, other peoples support and knowing that your not on your own is brilliant and motivates me to carry on. Quitting is not easy and it definately helps to have support and encouragement on here.
Thanks to everyone and keep going, well done to you as well

You will think of fags less and less, im on 3weeks and they only fleetingly come to mind.
Keeping busy helps and I also have a packet on the shelf and it helps me because no one is making me do this, I am not smoking cos I DONT WANT TO NOT COS i HAVE NONE.
Well done....doesn't it feel great to be through day 2??
In same position with hubby still smoking but he is being very good and going out of the house to smoke so I ahve got rid of the ashtrays etc....they were not helping the nausea...
Good luck on day 3...keep strong and see you on day 4...
Well done you, best decision you have ever made. You will think about them for a little while, we were with them many times a day for many years, but as time goes on it will get less. My husband still smokes but only outside and well away from me but I still know he is doing it and yes he stinks when he comes in.
I need to get a bit more time under my belt and then hope to try to encourage hubby to stop, with a bit of luck he will just decide on his own. Its amazing now we have stopped to realize how bad it all smells.
Good luck to you and catch up on day 4.
