I wanted to join a place where I could feel encouraged to keep up not smoking as even though I feel really motivated now I know there will most probably be a few times where I crave and feel like giving in - it happened last time I tried to quit but I feel different this time, I know that I really want to quit and have been waking up in the middle of the night worrying about the damage I am doing to my body - It is just not worth the stress I am going through when I do smoke - I can't wait to feel healthier and smell things more clearly and taste again! My boyfriend is there for me but i wanted to feel that I could share with fellow quitters and have a good old rant instead of sparking up when i feel the urge!

Best of luck Jess. Keep in touch about it all. Bad communication is better than no communication, but you're going to succeed if you put your mind to it.
What method are you using as a matter of interest ?
I am using the method of cold turkey! well - i am replacing ever craving I have with a herbal tea and it seems to be working so far - just get a bit unsettled at times. I find my concentration is not as good but hopefully this will change as time goes on. Any tips on helping giving up without resorting to nicotine would be most helpful!

Wow.....fair play to you for hitting the cold turkey road ! I can't say I have much advice to give on this method as I've failed miserably every time I've tried.
I'm on Champix and they're working amazingly for me.
