I went on a short trip last week and being in the sun and being lazy triggered some thoughts of smoking but nothing troubling..... just had a glass of wine instead Everything going well over here.... still doing the Bikram hot yoga..... it's keeping me happy and sane Cheers, quit buddy!!! Ah, my little night shifter and token and nogs. Like comfy old shoes you are. Its strange to get these pangs and I although i sort of expected to, it was a bit of a shock, though I do remember some of the Jan quitters suffering around about 6 months. Glad the yoga is still working and I agree, a glass of wine works as a good substitute! ByeBye is still around, has anyone heard from anyone else??

Comfy old shoes ey Don't worry about those pangs..... I read somewhere that winter quitters get them in the summer and vice versa.... Our brains are still getting triggered by situations we smoked in last year..... each time you get one now, know that it will become a more and more rare event! How is hubby doing? I'm not sure about other DFSers..... we'll just keep bumping this role call for the next few weeks.... I think Febers have simply moved on and given the newer guys some room..... so good to hear from you!!

You always were the level headed good advice giver my little quit buddy. Hubby is 120 odd days quit! His quit has been good, especially since he's done some serious partying without the wife (!!) and not caved! Good to see you around, Davo has done some digging, there are a few more of us around somewhere I believe! xx

I am hoping the recent pangs will subside and leave me stronger than before.

I am stupidly overweight but this isnt being helped by my even more stupid thyroid that doesnt know if its over or under active. Grrrrrrrr

Also have a husband who quit the day after me and has been the most miserable of quitters but has stuck to it.

Feeling better by the day.

Hi all

Haven't been on in a while!!!

But I am very proud to say that I am still a non smoker thank god.

Have had my bad moments but can handle them so much better.

Nice to see my quit buddies are doing so well

I still cant believe that I will be 6 months quit on the 23 rd of August and to tell you the truth i feel the time has flown by.

Good luck to all the newbies and keep up the great work.
