approximately 7,300 cigs each not smoked and £2190 each saved (or spent)
30 started this journey and I am confident that at least 20 are still with us....amazing. The NHS would love that success rate...
We are a happy friendly bunch...most of the time..........but in order to avoid overcrowding in the hot tub and as a courtesy to those of a nervous disposition we have had our own Penthouse built. It is right next to the original but we thought it better to build a new one than to lower the tone of the original...
So one by one we will enter, some battered, some bruised, some fatter, some fitter, some iller, some weller, but all of us looking and smelling FANTASTIC.
Everyone is entitled to their own moment of glory so no 12 month posts here please guys....be loud and proud on the boards each and every one of you and shout your success from the rooftops.....and let us all pat each other heartily on the backs when we reach the big one year.
Its not a tick on the clipboard this month my Octo buddies but a line through your names.
Never again will the clipboard be required.....don't all cheer at once please.

hi - checking in officially for the last time. Also, posted separately - good idea we mark this occasion. Anyway, clip board ticked for me please, miss.
*passes MCW left over hankie box - the sort with aloe vera in the tissue - kind to the nose sort and worth it*
Poor you. Had that little sod of a bug the other week. OH has it now so he'll miss the soft on the nose tissues, but he can put up with loo paper Oh, you can have his whisky too if you like
Very excited and pleased to be waiting for all you octoquitters rolling in. I've been given a sneak preview of one of your before and after pictures.....
Awww thanks Pol - MadCatMan had whatever I've got this time last week, and just when I thought I was safe..... it's GOT ME!!!!
Thinking about it though, about this time last year I got the man flu too, and it turned into a nasty chest infection, and I thought it was about time I gave up the fags.......maybe it's just Octoberitis! (And it's better this time round haha!)

I thought you had a nasty bug that got you quitting this time last year
Octoberitis ..... good name
The cold and it's effects I had last week/this week really did make me feel ever so thankful that I don't smoke. Cod knows how I'd felt had I still been smoking.
