Something is different today and I mean profoundly different.

Yesterday I felt like someone who was giving up cigarettes, today I feel like a non smoker. its like I have passed through some sort of invisible barrier. Did anyone else get this?

Just adding to my own thread - as the day goes on the more this feeling increases - honestly folks it is an amazing feeling, if you have had it before I know what you are talking about. If you haven't, this is worth waiting for, its like everything has become clear the pointlessness of smoking and just how much better I feel for stopping.

Wow

Sleep does wonderful things. Sounds like you'll have an easy day today, take each day as it comes for now so nothing takes you by surprise, but today is a good one so enjoy it :)

everyone is different and i really hope it lasts for you but i suspect youl still have days when your finding it a little more tricky but dont be disheartened the feeling your having is the feeling we are all aiming for all of the time and this will definately happen, i see these episodes as a glimmer of what is to come everyday . This might just be me, others may have a different experience x

Everyone's different, yours might last.

Still haven't had a day yet where I haven't been on this forum, that may be acting for me as a reminder of cigarettes. Even had to sit next to someone who smoked yesterday with no room to move. Didn't make me want one just made me thing what an inconsiderate pratt. Not saying I want fags anymore (at least not in the early days ways) but still aware of how recently I've stopped in comparison with how long I smoked for.

Enjoy your day - good days are worth noting in your quit diary as they're positive and reinforce your quit.

It may last ... it may last some days.. but don't be upset if you get an off day thrown in amongst it.. it just happens. Not popping the bubble, i just find it alot better to prepare u for a possible off day than have you sat struggling in the middle of one if and when it happens.

TODAY is a good day though, so enjoy it, the air of positivity is good on these days.

SM that feeling may waiver but ultimately it will grow and is what you are aiming for.

Cheers

Hi SM :D

Enjoy the way you feel today and remember how good that feeling is

Then if/when you hit a rough day it will help to get you through it

Before to long you'll notice that you have far more good days than bad Promise

I rarely have a bad day anymore in fact I really can't remember when I last had a really bad one

Love
