It's 7:18pm. my OH is putting a couple steaks on the BBQ and its 65 Degrees out. I've heard your winter is harsh this year. I'm glad to have your company... sorry about your insomnia Carol. Si I'm glad to hear your hour of craving is subsided (they say it's only a 3 minute craving, but mine were 30mins or so). Way to go

Smart phones are not very smart. I read a yahoo blip about messages that smart phones messed up. lol and Trust me , the steaks won't burn, my OH who quit smoking 1 month ago (i was 2 weeks behind) is rewarding himself with a prime cut, no burning here.

That's right they do put words in were they are not needed. But without it we wouldn't be talking /helping each other now. Even if it does take some translating. Yeah I'm on my 7 day now. I'd be lying if u said it was easy. I've had a bit if a wobble tonight.dint go as far as having a smoke wad getting quite close. I need to log on here more to engage in convo with folks who are going through the very same.

I'm on day 16 and it's getting much easier. I think each person struggles according to their previous dependency on nicotine. For me, A cigwas my reward center and my buddy for the last 20 years, what I lie I was caught in, now it's retraining my brain, one day at a time, retraining with the truth of what my addiction was, a waste of time and money, at the least. I'm so glad to have a place to come and talk with all of you who understand where I am. It sure makes the tough times a lot easier with people who understand.

Like any addiction you have to educate yourself to the fact that you cant take that risk

For alot of people it does take afew quits under there belt to realise thats it but there are others that can just stop and never smoke again my mum and aunt both achieved that
