Day 17

OMG.. I can't believe i'm actually here

17 days :eek: and gone so quick. Well, this week I have been feeling a little under the weather. Now I'm not sure if that is with my quit or my CAMPING DISASTER!! ( read LOOK WHO'S BACK )

My nose is blocked...my sinuses hurt... I keep getting a slight heavy head feeling...I have a annoying cough like I need to clear my chest but there is nothing there to clear :mad: ... oh and I'm tired all the time!! Could sleep the clock round. I have dry skin too!! But, hey ho, it's all better than smoking.

Just hope i'm feeling better soon!! It's a stark contrast to the first couple of weeks when I felt on top of the world!! I just feel fluey and miserable these last 3/4 days :mad:

Sorry you feel under the waether at the moment it could well be a combination of the bad weather you had while away and rhe quit but hope you feel better soon

I just finished reading your other thread....sorry to hear all didn't turn out as you expected but bloody well done on dealing with all of that and not thinking about smoking, your a star!

Hi slinky, only just got to read your posts from the other thread, and wow you had the holiday from hell!

Well maybe the weather was from hell, but you got through all that stress and didnt think about having a cig and came home still a non smoker! what a star!!!

One day when you old, (not wrinkly cos you a non smoker now) you will tell this tale and have a good giggle, but best of all you will always have a smile just knowing that you got through this holiday and came home smokefree!

I dont think you will need to persuade your oh at all, just watching you getting through at times like this and being positive will eventually make him believe he can do it too!

I slept from 11pm last night til 10:30am today... and I'm sat here counting the clock til I can get back in bed :eek: ..... Oh well, usually I suffer with insomnia, so shouldn't moan lol
