Not sure if its cos i have quit or because the of our changing weather but I am getting a cold
I have noticed on previous long term quits that i do tend to get ill after i have quit, could this be the body repairing itself and my immune system being low ?
However not to worry im quitting and thats that !

I felt really ill on my first quit. I got tonsilitis and block lymph nodes. The doctor told me that your immune system goes into overdrive eating all the crap off your lungs. Sure its a bit more technical than that lol but you'll soon settle down and feel a lot better. I still have a sore throat but losing the cough so thats all good.
Hi there, have heard it called quiters flu. It's annoying though cos your doing something to make yourself healthier and your body goes into sick mode. The good thing is that it is sorting it's self out from the time it was poisoned and I think I'm right in thinking that non smokers get less infections and colds in the long run, so stick in there mate!

Keep up the good work x
Hi Angela
Yes i was thinking it may be something like that. Can only be good in the long run though for us all after so many years of trying to poison our selves.
