For those on the fence reading this and you are reading what its like to quit smoking for those who battled each day each week and each month, you are welcome to read what I have to say.....

I quit smoking on Oct 19th 2008 after 30 Plus years of smoking. No Med, no hypnosis I just quit and I did it this way:

I SAID NO MORE CIGS...I MADE MY MIND UP THAT ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.

I found one aspect of smoking I hated and focused every effort on it. for me it was I smelled and reeked of cigs. after a week I began to smell others who smoke and it re-enforces me and my quit. I FEED ON THE STENCH OF OTHERS I am reminded of what I smelled like back then.

I am now free of the grip and I know I will never ever go back. I can be around smokers sit in a bar and in a car of smokers. (NOTE: second hand smoke is a concern so I avoid it as much as possible.)

I have energy...I taste food better..I smell things I never smelled before or I am reminded of odors from my childhood. I am running 3 miles a day and i love the freedom I have. I DONT SMELL.

SO I am entering my fifth month and I am here is help if I can. find that motivating factor feed off of it and get to the 2 week level and you will be successful..YOU WILL HAVE TRIGGERS (URGES) they will go away and you will reprogram your brain. I barely have triggers now..

NEVER SMOKE AGAIN YOU CAN DO IT....
