had a bad day today? Its strange how the nicodemons can sneak up on you, but it was bound to happen some-time, I'm sure you can hack it, and they go as quick as the blighters arrive to say 'hello'! kick em in to touch xxxx
Cig twinges for the first time since you stopped???!!! WOW! That just shows you how badly my mind is twisted around em cause mine are only SLOWLY starting to stay away!
Anyway, great, great job on almost 3 whole weeks! Sorry you had a tough night..... many, many amazing ones to follow! Take good care!!
What is it with old nic eh? He can be quite nasty b*&%^£" and I don't been u Nic - I mean nicotine just thought I'd clear that up lol).
U r doing so well Becky - 17 days is amazing - just keep thinking to urself as to how much money u have saved - bout about £85! Just think what u cud buy with that!!
Thank you all for your replies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Back on track now, went for a great walk today across miles of rough terrain and felt great, not huffing and puffing with little enthusiasm (sp) will feel it tommorrow in me legs but was good to feel well and capable.
Was saying to hubby on the way home how glad i am we don't smoke anymore. It's quite exhilarating not doing something that controlled you to the point where you felt trapped and hated the way it made you feel.
I don't miss it and i haven't found it 'hard' to quit. Staying focused on your goal and using your 'psyche' to centre your determination should (in my opinion) help make the quit SO much easier.
Having said that, the method you choose to help you quit (be it CT patches, champix etc) will have to suit you.
I did a patch programme and quit for a while however the champix THIS time has made the quit a smooth ride. It suited me better.
But maybe my determination was stronger this time..........
Maybe i wasnt ready mentally before..................
Who knows the recipe of a successful quit, but i do know this.........
So glad you feel better and are back on track walking is a great way to get rid of the blues [if that's the right word] keep it up you are doing great well done you and Hubby
That was a really great post, Rebecca!!!! The positive attitude rubs off..... just feelin a tad bit stronger now..... thank you... and great job to you and your hubbie!!! :):)
