Worst day

Hi..today has been the worst for cravings and wanting a ciggie out of all of them....don't know why..but I have just had to keep telling myself i dont want one, have gone thru too much and would hate myself if i gave into the cravings now!!!!

Strange why this has happened..been ok for several days?????

I have been a bit stressed today...which may have more to do with it.

  • Hang in there, there are good and bad days.

Chances are that tomorrow will be loads better and as time goes on the good days get more frequent and bad days less frequent.

Stay positive, stay strong and you can do this!

    hang in there x

  • Yes both on day 11...seems strange that this happened...even now I am struggling...just want to go to sleep to get rid of the cravings....

I am not leaving the house now so cant be tempted to buy any ciggies... its that bad i nearly need to tie myself to my chair..lol

  • There will be occasional bad days. One day could be great with no cravings, next will be horrendous and there may be no explanation.

Last week I had a few bad days that I put down to being stuck at home because of a bad leg and boredom. I was craving like crazy - at nearly 8 weeks in.

Then it just stopped. I was still in a lot of pain, still stuck at home... but the cravings just went and I've not had one since. Wierd.

That's just the way it goes, 1 bad day will be followed by several good days. Don't worry about it, just be ready for them if and when they come.

You're doing great, by the way ;)
