Well My last fag was Sunday about 11 am.

I have lost count the amount of times I have given up.

My partner is expecting in March, hence the recent attempt.

Previoulsy i have cut down from 20 to around 10, then the last month would be getting by on 5 a day.

Since this week of 0 per day, i have been fine up untill now.

I am finding Today very very hard, and I am snapping at ulmost everyone.

My voice is a bit hoarse.

Just wish i could hurry up and go home, So i could go to bed!!!

Frankly eat something sweet, get some fresh air, get away from human contact, deep breaths, chew a pencil, just do anything to take your mind off it (go to the loo and take a paper!!).

You are doing really well, but when the cravings hit, it's a bloody nightmare. However these will pass.

Tonight have a bath, lock the bathroom door and just enjoy the silence.

Good luck my love.

Day 5 was the hardest day for me too. I am on day 21 now, so made it through. Day 5 continues to be my hardest day so far, so once you've gotten past it, it does get better.

Hang in there!!!!

Thanks for your replys

It's gotten better as the days gone on.

My cravings are worse in the day, when im at work.. I suppose thats the Pysch part wanting something I cant have + bordem

At home, i'm its alot better, i have things to keep me entertained and mind focused I.e. TV!

I think i may just have a bath tonight and relax.

NB: I used to suffer a lot with anxiety, but already i feel less anxious in general. I have more energy and feel more confident.

I know its still very early days yet, but feel more confident this time.

Everytime i want a cig, i just think

1) what they do to your body

2) how foul it will taste now anyway (being 5 days the last one)

3) chucking my money away!

Thanks for your help folks

xxx

For me the first week was all up hill. Each day was worse. Then one day it all ends. You have come soooo far. Keep it up.
