Well made it through the 2 weeks half term without having a fag :)!!

So ok today is my last day on the patches as i have completed the course .

Today am off to the nic nurse as not seen her for 2 weeks now so just a catch up and to talk to her about the fear of cravings getting to much when i come off the nrt tomorrow , i think over the next couple of days it is going to be challanging so i am going to do a lot more reading .

So apart from the worry and the flu :mad: all is good so far .

Hi Tracey

Well I did the lozenge route and chose not to cut down but to cut out at the same kind of point you did.

I think if memory serves me right there have been points when you stepped down a strength of patch that you found it "irritating".

The bad news is that you will probably experience it again, the good news is that like when you dropped a strength it only takes a couple of days to get back to normal. I found day 1 NRT free was a bit weird, but by the time the 3rd came it was fine. I had a big craving about a week later but nothing as bad as the 1st week.

We know you can do it and more importantly YOU know you can do it, you have shown it already.
