Hello Everyone, I am nearly at the end of day three and am really starting to struggle. I heard day three was bad but never expected this.

My wife and I have both stopped, I have been smoking asince I was 10 years old, I am 34 now. I am stopping because I don't want my son to smoke, I want to enjoy life without those evil little sticks, and at £5.00 a pack I am sick of being skint.

I am more determined than ever to be rid of these fags. I am gonna do it. I nearly caved today, I could have smoked but I didn't, you're not going to get me this time......

Welcome congrats to you and your Mrs for your quit. things can be hard on the 3/4 day but they improve so much after old nic is gone. Are you using any aids or going CT. You will have good suport here stay with us. xxxx

Good for you stick in there it does get easier when my 6 year old son asked me why I was killing my self by smoking it home and I keep that in my head when I think of fags

Day three is a bad one but it's amazing how it gets better afterwards. I knew nothing at all about day three and I wasn't expecting to feel the way I did, I wish I had known what to expect, I was weepy, low, bad tempered and hated being with myself,day 4 I felt better then I had a week under my belt then 2 weeks and I just got stronger with time, the FREEDOM is so worth it. My life has changer so much, this morning for instance instead of lying in bed I'm walking into Newcastle to see the Eye bridge open at noon I only live 3 miles from town so 3 miles back and there's my daily exercise and all that lovely fresh air in my lungs. I smoked for 35 years and have been nic free 4months 2 weeks.
