My quit is going well, im using patches and im about to finish my first two week course on 21mg dropping to 14 then 7mg. 6 weeks in total. Getting on ok with the patches, just wish there were more places on the body you can put them (no comments needed thanks ) Will my upper arms cope with another 4 weeks of scrubbing off black glue squares. But i believe the patches get smaller as you drop mg's so this will help.
Im not even going to start on the dreams, but i notice there has been quite a few threads on this and i dont want to overkill the subject.
Reading Allen Carr, i know his against NRT but i dont give a monkeys Ar** i havent smoked for 13 days and thats all that matters to me.
Blimey, i dont think i will be posting much, i waffle on, sorry folks.

have a great weekend people.
Welcome 3lions. Try putting them on your hip they are out of sight then and if you should go swimming they don't come off when in the water. Blooming horrible those black glue squares to get off. As for the dreams I know I had some really weird ones, can't remember what about now but do recall they were weird.
Off on my hols tomorrow so won't be on here til a week on Monday so have a great weekend everyone and hope to see you on here when I get back.
One of my previous quits involved patches and the dreams were absolutely amazing and totally filthy:D.
Stay with your quit 3lions (are they on your shirt?).
Whatever gets you through is good.
OK thats it for me, may have to double the patch dosage and have an early night. Why are my dreams only involving talking rabbits, perhaps with 42mg's on my arm i may dream of talking Playboy bunnies!
*would now attach huge photo of playboy bunny but due to forum rules i cant and i dont want to get banned on my 4th post*
Oh and the 3 lions, yea on the shirt, england all the way!! but we dont talk football at the moment, its a total disgrace we are not in Switzerland, blame that "Brollie Wally"..........
When I tried patches I used to have wicked dreams but had the same one quite a few times I used to dream that I was a goat herder and when I awoke I would be hanging on to the side of the bed as a goat had fallen off the rock face!!!! Would hate to find out the meaning of that dream!!!
Anyway, you are doing really well. I quit on 17th March 2008 using gum, lozenges and inhalour and am still stopped. I agree with you about NRT I envy people that can quit cold turkey but I'm just not one of them so for me NRT is my only chance to finally quit this horrid drug.

I've have loads of weird and wonderful dreams during my quit but that one beats all mine hands down.
