:eek:I wish I had the funds to reward myself that way! Good for you! I am not one for replacing appliances or electronics unless one goes on it's own. Say a prayer for me that one of my tv's blows up before Christmas. I want an upgrade really bad. I bought the kids a Wii last Christmas and they really can't enjoy the graphics.

as in made by an artisan or skilled craftsperson ... not a factory.

basically the good stuff you cant get at the supermarket

edit: at least in the US where we enjoy processed wax with abandon

Think rewards are a very good thing. At the end of every day since I quit I,ve been putting £10 The money that would have gone up in SMOKE and put it in an old catering coffee tin and in January im going skying, cant wait. Never done it before, but going with cousin whos quite good or so he says.:eek:

Great stuff. Its ovely to spend the money on something you will enjoy.

I have saved £135 so have treated myself to a flat screen TV for my bedroom. And to think that money would have gone up in smoke.

the last time i tried to give up i put the cash in a tin unfortunately after a stressful day i gave in took the money out and went and bought cigarettes.

i discovered that method never worked well for me if i was tempted so this time i leave it in my bank account only take out the money i need so never have a lot of money lying around.

leaving it like that for now as we are going to Prague next month more spending money but in january going to put the cash thats left in my account at the end of the month in a savings account but fingers crossed it works out.
