Nicole...Sorry to read about your difficulty and sitting a world away I can feel your pain and genuine regret...Yes.. We want to rely on something to ease the pain and who is closer than our old ciggie friend... BUT it is not the support you needed because look at you now feeling all that regret and I am sure you did not feel much better smoking that 2 cigarettes...

It is not easy Nicole but keep your head high and fight...Strongs !!

Don't get too despondent and beat yourself up. You have a lot on your plate at the minute by the sounds of it. I've done it several times in the past.

You need to get back into it as quick as possible before it takes hold again. If you need to smoke to get through the day then so be it, but try to get back on with your quit as soon as you can.

I hope everything works out OK with your friend. Best of luck Nicole, let us know how you're getting on.

I have decided that I need a change in my life so I am going to do as many courses as it take to get my own business in pre school child care. I am starting my quit today. Not had one yet and it's staying that way. I've had enough of complaining about my life and wasting my tenants so here I go. Wish me luck.

Good luck and go for it. You only live once!

I went to University and had big a career change in my thirties and I have never looked back.

Love your determination.

I've learned it doesn't matter how low you fell or how stressed you are a cigarette is not your friend or the answer.

That's the spirit! It won't help us on the long run!

I'm proud of you! Keep it going!

Hey NicoleWard25 , sorry to read you are going through huge struggles but the good news is your realization that smoking does not help and you are back on the horse.

I too am going through huge life changes, will back at work from 2 weeks holidays tomorrow for my final 2 weeks following my job being made redundant. I am starting a Professional Cookery course on 05 September as it is something I was always wanted to do. This is going to a huge life change for me as worked in this job since I finished college 20 years ago but so believe everything happens for a reason

Wishing you strength and stay close to the forum....

How are you getting Nicole?

NicoleWard25 I did the same slipped had 3 but started my quit the same day.

Remember this moment, remember that all that was built in your head was a lie. No more cigarettes, they really ain't your friend.

Well done for keeping going. That takes a special kind of someone to do that.
