Hi there

Well done on quitting. What method are you using?

I was on Champix and felt a little lethargic for a few weeks. I can confirm however that your energy levels will pick up in time. I now no longer have those moments in the day when I just wanted to sleep and I just feel amazing and awake!

It will get better.

A lot if it will be mental tiredness too, it can fatigue you in more ways than one.

Drink a bit of water in the afternoons, and snack on some fruit to keep you awake.

Congrats on the quit - during the first two weeks of my quit I had problems keeping awake - and used to nod off many afternoons on the sofa - I did put it down to the champix. Thats all paassed now thought - so guess I can say you the tiredness will pass.

Hi Marg,

Yes, I too used to get exhausted and feel cold, too, during the first three or four weeks ...It has gone now. Your body is concentrating on re-aligning to exclude the weed. It's all good..Just hang in there and, if anyone doesn't like it, just tell it like it is!...You're recovering from addiction and that's it!

All the best,

Bill:)
