I'm on day 6 of quitting cold turkey and although I feel better than I did the first 3 days, I can't believe how rubbish I still feel. Days 4, 5 and today have been equally as bad as each other. My symptoms are foggy head, spaced out, feeling exhausted and shattered. Can anyone offer any advice as to when these symptoms clear up? I thought I’d only feel rubbish for the first 72 hours.
Thanks

I'm nine weeks into cold turkey and had the symptoms you described at the beginning. I was worried about the spaced out feeling and dizzy/light headedness. All cleared up after a couple of weeks so hang in there as it really does get better. I found this website incredibly useful to check out symptoms and when I had any questions.
Just worked out how you do a search on this site and so have had a read and got the information I was after. It was interesting to note how many other people have experienced anxiety and depression since quitting. It is quite disturbing to read how long these bouts can last.
