I have enough trouble believeing it myself lol!
Haven't been on here for a while, just thought I would log on the say that today I have reached a whole 9 months without a cigarette.
To be quite honest, it get's to a point now that I forget that I ever smoked. It is so normal now that I wish I had done it sooner.
I hope everyone else is doing well. Please don't give in as it is so worth it.
Got to go as we're preparing for baby No. 2. Wife is having c-section tomorrow, so gonna have my hands full for a while. Will try and post some pics when I get a chance.
Well done all
Barney

WOOOOW!!!!! Barney your a superstar mate. Great to see you again. Good Luck for tomorrow, though i know you will be all ok. Do post some pics we all just love a brand new baby. And congratulations on a massive 9 months, your an inspiration to us all Barney. xxx
I'm 2 weeks off the 9 months - or would have been but have been having a few blips of late due to loads of crap in my life (and yes I know cigs don't really help).
BUT don't want to go back full time smoking, HATE the smell of it on others/in places, HATE hearing people cough their guts up etc etc. I'm not smoking every day and can manage fine without, I'm not even craving-just the odd urge/fancy which gets me- I think when I'm unhappy (can cope with stress).
Anyway, got another job to go to beginning of May that I'm really looking forward to (just had two jobs that I've left- difficult working for others when I've been my own boss, running my own businesses for 13 years) and I know when I'm busy with that Mr Nic will totally go again.
All the best to you and Mrs Barney for the BIG day tomorrow!!
Hi Barney well done and all the very best for you and your wife tomorrow !!!

He's in special care unit at the moment due to mucus still in his lungs, this because in a normal delivery, all the mucus is squeezed out when the baby is pushing itself out. He's improving all the time.
Oh yeah, and the 9 month thing? Yeah! already occured to me as soon as she fell pregnant. Funny thing is she fell pregnant with my 1st when I gave up smoking previously:rolleyes:.
I guess it must be true what they say about smoking and fertility. lol
