Keep working through it Alan, soon be day 2 for us.
I rarely have any effects from stopping smoking only that i get tired.
You have good reasons , keep thinking good things and i will see you 2morrow.

Well it's now day three for me and I can honestly say that since giving up I haven't one good night's sleep. Each morning I wake up feeling sick and light headed but as the day goes on it seems to pass. So I just wanted you to know that your not alone with how you feel.
I am determined to keep at it as I know that I will reap the rewards in the long run.
Hi. I'm on day 9. I realised earlier that i've not really thought about fags today! Up till now it's been pretty much all i could think about. It is the nicotein playing tricks!!!

day 2 for me is nearly over. when i stop smoking i lack motivation, i feel that part of me is missing. i currently need to wash up put washing on etc but have no motivation to do this.i just want to go to bed. how can i get over this feeling?
That's all you can, take it one day at a time - don't look any further than that.
It will get better - promise.
Stay busy, distract yourself, when I was in the house when I had a craving I went and brushed my teeth, they say a craving only actually lasts about 3 mins, so by the time you've run upstairs brushed your teeth then down again your 3 mins is up.
Sorry, folks, I started replying to your thread and I turned into a wee poem.....how cool is that
Another reason not to smoke has gone on my list.....my artistic talents have been subdued by nicotine all these years...
I feel a song coming on now....
"Oh I can see clearly now the fags have gone
I can see there's really NOTHING in my way
Gone are those bad fags that had me down
It's gonna be a bright, bright sunshining day!"
Tra la la la la
Seriously, stick in there, WE CAN ALL DO THIS!!!!!!
