Not enjoying Day 2 at all - if anything it's worse than yesterday. Feel light-headed and quite tearful. Walked round the shops this morning to get out of the house and distract myself and couldn't even be bothered to try new clothes on - this is serious for me! Had my regular appointment at the stop smoking clinic and she says the symptoms are quite normal i.e. it's because there is more oxygen going round my body as my carbon monoxide level has gone down (my level on the blowy thing was down to 1 from 21!). I assumed that life would instantly feel marvellous as a non-smoker and I'd be full of energy and do all my paperwork and tidy the house etc. etc. I'm going to stick with it but will try to spend the weekend in bed and hope I wake up full of enthusiasm on Monday! Hope it is going better for everybody else.
