my week 4!!(one month on thursday)

hiya all,

Well i've done my first month of non-smoking on thurs(13th)

I'm still storming on!! not had any slip ups and don't feel like having any either!

i keep forgetting to take the champix though:confused: it's just like i've never smoked, must be that? ( AND BEFLY.....I'VE GOT A LOVELY SET OF FINGERNAILS TOO which i've never had in my lifetime, well not unless i stuck some on!!)

just been reading the boards and everyone seems to be doin well!

BE STRONG!!

not been on pc that often but i'll keep intouch & reading the boards when i do.

Hi Poskit,

This is really strange coz I have grown my nails for over 8 weeks and guess what? you post on here about your nails and I have just sat here and bitten all mine off! Oh well, I feel the same about my nails as I do about smoking, its just a blip and I will stop biting them again now and start growing them again!

Glad you are doing so well, I am only taking one champix a day most of the time but think I will keep taking them as long as I can.

we were only saying last week that we'd grown our nails since starting on the champix, at least your nails will grow again, as long as you haven't turned back to the dreaded ciggies thats the main thing!! i've been going through loads of packets of chewing gum!!! that might be why i've not bitten my nails? (you can't bite your nails when you're chewing gum!)

right gotta go! run a bath about an hour ago n not been in yet:eek:

Wooohooo!!! It's Official!!!

HIYA ALL

DONE ONE MONTH & 2 DAYS NOW!!!

went to my doctors on thursday for my check up and new supply of champix.

was talking to the nurse saying how i was doing ect and she said

"BECAUSE YOU'VE DONE A MONTH WITHOUT SMOKING YOU ARE NOW OFFICIALLY AN EX-SMOKER"!!!

I CAN'T TELL YOU HOW GOOD I FELT ESPECIALLY WHEN SHE TYPED IT IN WITH MY DETAILS ON THE COMPUTER.

and when hubby came home from work with a bunch of flowers for me cos i'd done a month without a fag. I FELT REALLLLLY GOOOOD!!

i know iv'e said i was finding it easy, but all the support and help from u guys and my family & friends have help tonnes!

i want you to all know that if i can help anyone who is finding it hard i will.

just ask

anyway gotta go catch you all soon.
