Major wobble on Saturday

but still here after a whole month.

I have been quit for 1 Month, 2 hours and 38 minutes (31 days). I have saved £161.45 by not smoking 622 cigarettes. I have saved 2 Days, 3 hours and 50 minutes of my life. My Quit Date: 04/01/2008 11:45

Saturday lunchtime I very nearly fell off the wagon, it was like "Right, that's it, enough's enough, joke's over, you've had your fun, but I'm fed up of this game now, where's me fags?!". Even got as far as putting my coat on to go and get some, but luckily came to my senses by asking myself if I really wanted to smoke for the rest of my life. Errr, No.

Then today, while walking the dog, I stumbled across a pack of 10 Royals, with 1 whole fag left in it!! Just lying on the ground there!! I admit I took it out of the packet, but luckily I didn't have a light on me, and again good sense got the better of me before I got home, and i dropped it down a drain. But what are the chances of that happening? Feels like someone's testing me.

Well done for staying strong. This just goes to show how strong the addiction is - I mean however hungry you were I'd doubt you'd seriously consider eating rubbish off the floor!

Actually, when I was 6 or 7 years old, I used to pick up dogends off the streets and pretend to smoke them....maybe that was the start of my later addiction :)
