Wasn't going to post but what the heck

Evening everyone, it's 2 years for me today since I last had a fag.

I remember that Sunday afternoon, hungover and ill, 5 fags left in the packet and heat like you couldn't believe, as I lay on the decking trying to salvage some of the weekend. Smoked those 5 fags and took my hungover, dehydrated and unfed body for a run. Those were the days, fond aye, do them again - never!

When I quit a pack of cheepies cost £4.35, I couldn't afford to smoke then and defo couldn't afford to do so now.

I am so glad I quit, I wish I'd managed to quit earlier. I been trying since I turned 30, or at least that's what I told myself - trying as long as no will power was required. So if I can do it anyone can. Small steps, don't look too far ahead, congratulate yourself for each day you've made it through and ask yourself honestly - would you want to do any of those days again?

Good luck all.

Two years, 12 minutes and 22 seconds. 14600 cigarettes not smoked, saving £3,168.24. Life saved: 7 weeks, 1 day, 16 hours, 40 minutes.
