I have concluded that the cigarette that I miss the most is the one after a meal - I feel there is a bit of a void when I have finished my food and it makes me angry.

I have also concluded that the best part of not smoking is getting up in the morning and feeling like I am bursting with energy and having the sex drive of a viagra fuelled rabbit.

Thats all I have to say on the matter!

Hiya Chaps,

Well done all of you for getting this far! Am on day 18 now, and feeling so good. I have been making a point of using mouthwash and eating extra strong mints as a way of emphasising to myself how fresh my mouth is now I do not smoke all the time. Off to the gym in a bit to re-acquaint myself with the weights and machines, looking forward to it. Smoking was always the obstacle that stopped me achieving everythng else I wanted to do. Its like the last few years every plan I had my thoughts were "ok, when I give up smoking I will do such and such..." Its superb that I am at this level of confidence after such a short time, don't worry though I am aware of the pitfalls, not been out on too many boozy nights just yet, but I have done this so many times before that if I fell of the wagon this time I would have to give myself a proper seeing to!

Must be down to just two or three times a day now, when I cigs actually enter my mind, the rest of the time its like I have never smoked. I cannot begin to tell you the changes I have felt in my health, its unbelieveable really to think how clogged up I was with all that horrible sh*te! Breathing is now a pleasure (say that to a person who has never smoked and they would think you were a fruit loop)!

Anyway enough rambling from me, just a quick nod to all fellow quitters, keep up the good work and thanks for all the inspiration!
